The long waited rumors are finally laid to rest. The Apple iWatch is real and it’s called Apple Watch. According to Tim Cook, it is the most personal device that Apple has ever created. He further describes it as the next chapter in Apple’s history. A “comprehensive health and fitness device”.
Apple also showed a teaser video which shows different straps attached to the Apple Watch with a range of colors. The glass of Apple Watch is made of sapphire crystal and the display is a flexible Retina panel that has been laminated to the sapphire. The Watch also has a built in gyroscope, a heart rate sensor and a Taptic Engine for input sensing.
